A curse on the cursor
A screen with a blinking cursor on it, tapping impatiently for me to write, is perhaps the most intimidating impediment to writing I have ever come across - far worse than the Arctic waste of a blank white page at the beginning of a Creative Writing Workshop. At least with an old fashioned pen or pencil, one can doodle until the juices start flowing, or start doing a fancy illuminated capital that...

Digital or Hardcover
It is such a dilemma in todays society when deciding whether to pick up the hardcopy of a book at your local store of to just download it from the internet! Personally, I prefer reading hardcopy books as I feel that it is more intimate and enjoyable as there is a process involved; waiting for the book to come into the store to going out and buying the book. Cel of Lit has hit a new high this year! Really awesome!
I would like to find out about all of the Authors inspirations. What makes them get up every day and WRITE. Whar drives them to create the best stories they possibly can. Why I should read their books and what makes them better than everyone else!

HAVING A BLAST!!
I am very grateful I brought my enormous shoes today, to elevate me over the mud. I felt like a dutch woman in days of yore, although the shoes are actually more like geta than pattens. I am also very grateful that my two student escorts, Charlise and Shanelle, (or maybe Sharlise and Chanelle? Syllable confusion!) were so adept at hauling all my ridiculous stuff, on account of I have a serious...
